Definition : free content

Let’s define some terms that are around all the time, but not well understood by everyone.

Free content

Free content is any kind of functional content having no legal restriction relative to people’s freedom to use, improve, redistribute, or share it. Importantly, when free content is modified or incorporated within another work, the resulting work must also be distributable as free content.
